Free Pattern - Doll Outfit

So here's my pattern for a doll's set - I've knitted it up as a smock top with bell sleeves, with capri pants and a headband, but the smock top could easily become a sleeveless top or a dress. Capri pants can also be lengthened/shortened to make shorts or long trousers.

It's "modelled" by a Zapf Soft Bodied Baby Born doll.

Apologies for half the pattern being in capitals - Catalpa had happily sat on my laptop while I was making notes :p

  1. Can you tell me the size of the model doll in length?

  2. It's a 14" doll, but should fit a 16" doll too I would think. The trousers can be drawn in at the waist to fit a smaller doll, and a little elastic at the neckline of the top should scale that down too.

I've borrowed this dolly from a friendly kindergarten teacher, but I can see I'm going to have to look for some charity shop babies of my own!

I should have a matching cardigan pattern up tomorrow with 3/4 length sleeves, and possibly a half knitted/half fabric dress as well. :)
